Building a Circular Wood Economy from your waste

We’re thrilled to share our 2023 Social & Environmental Impact Report. It gives a snapshot of what our hard-working wood recyclers have achieved with our partners in the construction industry and beyond:-

Diverted 21,129 tonnes of wood waste from landfill – that’s equivalent to the weight of nearly two Eiffel Towers.

Saved 10,000 tonnes of CO2 – that’s the same as the amount created by the average car driving 47,500,000 miles.

Empowered 637 people with training and 246 with jobs, with the majority of our work in the most deprived areas of the country.

7,870 tonnes of the timber we collected was reused.  We are harnessing the power of community reuse, one of the most powerful tools for fighting waste, and creating an affordable supply of wood for DIY.

By providing commercial waste wood collection and sorting for reuse through our UK-wide network of social enterprises, we’re closing the loop on wood’s lifecycle. Every pallet, offcut and board plays a role in building a circular economy – one that benefits people and planet.

We’re so grateful to our partners, supporters, and our amazing teams going out in all weathers up and down the country for making this impact possible.
