Community Wood Recycling celebrates International Women’s Day

For International Women’s Day we’re celebrating the women of Community Wood Recycling who run our social enterprises, go out to construction sites on collections, make things in our workshops and at keep everything going at our national office.

This year’s theme is “Invest in women: Accelerate progress”. We share the UN’s belief that building a society and an economy that cares for people and planet is essential to allow us to move away from the current system that exacerbates poverty, inequality, and environmental degradation, disproportionately affecting women and marginalized groups.
