Community Wood Recycling partners choose to Buy Social

As a Social Enterprise UK member, we are proud to be part of the Buy Social Corporate Challenge, which helps bring more social enterprises into big supply chains.

At Community Wood Recycling we have developed strong links with corporate partners who choose to Buy Social, including EQUANS, Mitie, Robertson Group, Siemens, Wates Group and Willmott Dixon. It’s great to see that these major players are committed to using their purchasing power to have a positive impact.

The latest report on the Challenge highlights an unprecedented success. This year, corporate partners have spent a remarkable £99 million on social enterprises, contributing to a total of £355 million since its inception in 2016. By creating social value in this way, these companies are helping to change to the lives of people in local communities up and down the country for the better, and showing the power of social procurement.
