We’re delighted to be finalists in the Social Value Award: Education, Training and Skills Development category at the MRW National Recycling Awards 2026.
It’s particularly encouraging to see the awards recognise the social value created by the waste and resources sector. Alongside the environmental benefits, organisations across the industry are helping people gain skills, confidence and experience that can be life-changing.
Our nomination reflects the work Community Wood Recycling members do every day across our network, creating opportunities for people who may be struggling with confidence, experience or employment while keeping valuable wood in use for longer.
