Oxford Wood Recycling wins Best Sustainable Business award

We are delighted to announce that Community Wood Recycling member enterprise Oxford Wood Recycling have been crowned the winner of the Best Sustainable Business award in Buckinghamshire/Oxon Muddy Stilettos Award 2022. After their initial nomination in May they won through to the final five and after a tense couple of weeks, it has now been announced that they have won the award!

Richard Snow, Oxford Wood Recycling’s CEO, said:

Muddy Stilettos’ ethos is all about celebrating and supporting the most unique, interesting, and brilliant local businesses. The public response has been incredible, with over 750,000 people around the country voting across the 28 Muddy Stilettos county sites so a huge thank you to all of those who voted for Oxford Wood.

All regional winners will automatically be put through to the inaugural National Muddy Stilettos Awards 2022, to be judged by experienced Muddy editors through the summer.

Five successful finalists per category will be shortlisted to go into the National Finals to be announced in September, with the ‘Best of the Best’ winners crowned in October.
