Our 2021 annual report ‘Trading to Build a Better World’ is contains information about how the Community Wood Recycling network has grown since our last survey in 2018, as well as our involvement with the COP26 in Glasgow and the role of wood recycling in methane reduction, and our work supporting people, including those suffering from isolation and mental illness, and young people enrolled on the government’s Kickstart scheme. The report was featured on letsrecycle.com.

Although we are once again facing a period of uncertainty, as we start to look beyond the coronavirus crisis and refocus on the need to address the climate emergency we realise that what we do is more important than ever. We are committed to being at the forefront of the movement to use social enterprise to build a circular economy. – Richard Mehmed, Managing Director, Community Wood Recycling
