Welcoming the Construction Industry Back to see us in action

After a long gap we are now able to welcome visitors from the construction companies who support our work by using our waste timber collection service back to visit us. Showing our clients round one of our wood stores so they can see how we turn their rubbish into our treasure and find out about the lives changed by volunteering with us is an important part of building partnerships to create a circular economy. We also give our visitors the chance to meet the team at our main office who do the behind the scenes work supporting their orders.

Among the first people to visit were Mike Harvey-Browne and Harry Wade from Cala Homes (pictured with Community Wood Recycling Sales Team Supervisor Pearly Davies and Rick from Brighton and Hove Wood Recycling Project). Cala Homes is committed to building sustainable communities and incorporating social value into their work. It was a pleasure to welcome Mike and Harry, and we look forward to developing our partnership with Cala in the future.
