As Zero Waste Week comes to a close we’d like to share a couple of new projects in our network which are helping to fight waste. Oxford Wood Recycling have joined the refill revolution, working with SESI Refills so that customers can bring in their own containers and buy products like washing up liquid, laundry liquid, fabric conditioner, hand soap and all purpose surface cleaner, and as you’d expect they’ve built a customised display unit from reclaimed wood. Meanwhile in Scotland, Glasgow Wood Recycling are developing a woven bench seat made from the plastic and fabric strapping used to secure timber during transit.

We love both these initiatives, and the way that all our members contribute to building a world where reuse is the norm.
