The Aldingbourne Country Centre is located on the edge of the South Downs National Park – we provide vocational training for people with learning disabilities across a range of activities and are an established visitor attraction in the area drawing over 60,000 visitors a year. We pride ourselves on giving people a great experience and have been awarded a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence.

This is an important role within the Aldingbourne Country Centre, supporting the environmental and recycling ethos of the Trust. Working with the Wood Recycling Senior (WRS), the post holder will be involved in all aspects of the Wood Recycling enterprise – from collecting waste wood and driving the van through to developing networks and sales leads. The role will also include responsibility for our wood burners on site and the supply of wood to our workshop enterprises. In addition, the role holder will be responsible for administering and operating the Trust’s Long Bench project in conjunction with Arun District Council. Working alongside the people we support (adults with learning disabilities), you will provide opportunities for learning new skills and developing independence.

The contractual hours for this post are 37.5 hours per week (8.30 – 4.30), working 5 days in 7, including some weekends and public holidays.

Salary £19,152.38 – £22,543.38
(starting salary dependent on skills and experience)
